Car Bomb Attack in Manbij

A car bomb attack in Manbij, Aleppo province, resulted in the tragic deaths of 7 civilians. The incident took place at the southern entrance of Manbij, a town that was liberated from PKK/YPG terrorists as part of the Operation Euphrates Shield.

Initial reports indicate that 14 civilians were also injured in the attack. The wounded have been taken to nearby hospitals, while concerns are raised about a possible increase in the death toll.

Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet, local security forces are considering the likelihood of PKK/YPG involvement.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) liberated Manbij from terrorists on December 9, 2024, as part of the Operation Euphrates Shield.
