cadiz - A captain has secured six Greenpeace activists on a ship at the Spanish port of Cádiz. The cargo ship of palm oil trader Wilmar transports palm oil products from Indonesia to Rotterdam. The six climbed aboard the ship with Spain.
The activists want the company to show that palm oil does not come from plantations that destroy the rainforest. The six-party buyer Mondelēz, the maker of Oreo biscuits, also calls for no more palm oil from Wilmar.
