World March 20, 2018 19:15

amsterdam - The chief executive of Cambridge Analytica, Alexander Nix, has been put on non-active by his employer. That reports Bloomberg news agency.

Cambridge Analytica is under attack because of its role in the American elections. The company would have acquired the personal information of tens of millions of Facebook users via a foolish way via a friend, to use for the Donald Trump campaign.

An app was developed that users use on Facebook, supposedly for scientific research. In reality, not only the data of the users of the app were passed on, but also data about their Facebook friends.

Facebook is heavily under attack because of the riot. Mark Zuckerberg has to justify himself in the European Parliament and the company's shares have plummeted on the stock exchange.
