- The wildfires north and northwest of Los Angeles are probably caused by an illegal campfire is left unattended. That said, the authorities Tuesday (local time).

The fires started on July 22 when a small fire in Garrapata State Park. The part of the park where the fire started was closed at the time for campers and campfires are prohibited. No one was arrested.
