Brussels Influencer Receives 17.5-Year Driving Ban

Adil.gofast, a Brussels influencer, has been handed a 17.5-year driving ban after posting videos of himself driving recklessly at high speeds through traffic.

Reckless Driving and Violations

The Brussels public prosecutor launched an investigation in May 2023 following social media posts showing the influencer driving sports cars at over 250 km/h, performing dangerous maneuvers.

The influencer, followed by over 40,000 people, had rented multiple sports cars registered in Poland and Germany, disregarding traffic laws.

Multiple Offenses and Maximum Penalty

Despite prior driving bans and drug-related offenses, the influencer continued to drive, even uploading new videos after being summoned to court and spending time in jail.

At the recent trial, held in his absence, the influencer was found guilty on thirteen charges, receiving three 5-year driving bans, two 1-year bans, and one 6-month ban, along with fines totaling €25,600.

Additionally, he must retake all driving exams and undergo medical and psychological evaluations.
