Under this new law, British internet users must first prove that they are 18 years of age or older before they can access the aforementioned websites, writes Het Nieuwsblad. There are various systems- although none of them 100% watertight- available to arrange that authentication. One of the most important of these is AgeID, where Britons can sign up once with, for example, a credit card number to prove their age.
