castle camps, cambridgeshire, uk - A British man creatively draws attention to a dangerous pothole in the road by placing fake legs in it, sparking both amusement and action from the authorities.

British Man's Creative Protest

A British man in Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire, frustrated by the local council's inaction on road maintenance, placed fake legs in a pothole to draw attention to the issue. James Coxall, a 41-year-old carpenter, described the pothole as a 'crater' that had been there for over six months. While the road is not heavily trafficked, Coxall emphasized the potential danger, especially with oncoming traffic.

After the humorous yet effective protest garnered media attention, the County Council committed to inspecting the road and making necessary repairs. Coxall, who saw the lighter side of the situation, used old clothes, shoes, and wood to create the fake legs, which were anchored with a brick. The whimsical display not only amused his family and friends but also sparked widespread interest and discussion.
