Brit is guilty of plans to attack London

london - The 28-year-old Brit Khalid Ali was found guilty before Tuesday in London for preparing an attack near parliament and making bombs for the Taliban. He was arrested in April 2017 in Parliament Street with three knifes in his pocket.

The prosecutor said that Ali was preparing 'a deadly terror attack' in the heart of London, the BBC reported. Ali would have been targeting a policeman, a soldier and possibly a member of parliament.

Ali had returned from Afghanistan shortly before his arrest. His fingerprints were found on material for making bombs. That material was found in Afghanistan in 2012. The court announces the punishment against Ali on 20 July.
