Brighton Secures Signing of Diego Coppola

Brighton and Hove Albion have successfully completed the acquisition of Italy defender Diego Coppola from Hellas Verona. The 21-year-old, who recently played for Italy in a World Cup qualifier, has penned a five-year deal with the club.

Exciting Addition to the Team

Coppola, who emerged from Verona's academy, brings with him a wealth of experience from his 81 appearances and four goals in Serie A. Brighton's manager Fabian Hurzeler expressed his enthusiasm for the new addition, emphasizing Coppola's progress and national team call-up.

Coppola is currently part of Italy's Under-21 squad at the Euros in Slovakia, where they have already secured a spot in the group stage following victories over Slovakia and Romania. Their upcoming match against Spain will be a crucial test for the young defender.
