Brexit agreement public after British cabinet support

brussels - The EU and the United Kingdom have agreed on the conditions for the departure of the British from the EU. The European Commission has released the text of the 585-page agreement in principle, immediately after Prime Minister Theresa May in London announced that her cabinet is supporting the preliminary agreement and a declaration on the future relationship.

The British will leave the union on March 30, 2019, followed by a transition period until December 31, 2020, EU chief negotiator Michel Barnier confirmed at a press conference in Brussels. European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has informed EU President Donald Tusk of the principle agreement that will be set up at a special summit in Brussels by the 27 EU countries and British Prime Minister Theresa May.
