Brazil has summoned the US Charge d'Affaires to the Foreign Ministry in response to the treatment of irregular migrants by the US Embassy in Brasilia. The Charge d'Affaires, Gabriel Escobar, was called in to discuss the treatment of Brazilian migrants, who were seen being deported with handcuffs on a plane by the US authorities.
