Brazil may choose 'dictatorial leader'

World October 25, 2018 14:16

rio de janeiro - Approximately 147 million Brazilians can choose the new president on Sunday and polls indicate a great victory for the right wing populist and ex-military Jair Bolsonaro. His opponent of the left-wing PT (Workers' Party), Fernando Haddad (55), had to do so in recent polls with the support of 43 percent of the respondents. The rest supported the 63-year-old Bolsonaro who was seriously injured by an assassination attempt in September. He only campaigned in the background.

According to some observers, this is one of the reasons that the popularity of him has increased so stormy. He can, in fact, still deter voters, because he does not unfold a clear plan, lays out rough curses and violently intervenes and recommends military rule. In the first round of the presidential election he achieved by far 46 percent by far the most votes, especially thanks to his tirades against criminals.
