Bottles of Stella Artois back to glass in beer

- Brouwer AB InBev has recalled beer bottles from a dozen countries, because there may be pieces of glass in it.

According to De Standaard it is an action in ten countries, including Belgium and the Netherlands, specifically for the green bottles of Stella Artois of 33 centilitres.

The brewer did not want to tell the Belgian newspaper how many bottles it is. However, Heineken's competitor reported that it is 'a very limited number'. In Belgium, the bottles passed through the cash register at Delhaize.

Small pieces of glass could be released from these bottles by 'deviations' and fall into the beer, according to AB Inbev.
