
Bomb at US embassy
- Explosives experts from the Philippine police on Monday defused a bomb at the US Embassy in Manila. The building was evacuated and the street where the embassy is located was closed for two hours, reported the radio station DZMM.
In a trash can at the embassy was found a suspicious package. Which consisted of a bottle, which was connected to a mobile phone with wires. According to police, the makeshift bomb resembled an explosive which in September in the southern city of Davao an attack was committed on a market. Thereby were then fifteen deaths.
