manchester - The body of suicide terrorist Salman Abedi, who blows himself up in Manchester during a concert of Ariana Grande, is nowhere to welcome. Funeralists, the city council and certainly one mosque in Manchester refuse to bury Abedi. The physical surplus is currently stored in a mortar outside the city.
An initiate tells the local newspaper The Manchester Evening News that various agencies are doing everything to prevent Abedi from being buried or cremated. The Central Mosque of Manchester is one of those agencies. A spokesman for the prayer place tells the newspaper that the board has decided not to offer Abedi a last resting place.
The judge will ultimately decide what to do with the physical surplus.
Abedi took 22 people dead on Monday monday. The attack has been claimed by Islamic State (IS), but there is doubt as to whether they are actually behind the terrorist act.
