washington - President Joe Biden revealed that the man behind the New Orleans attack possessed a remote for explosives in his vehicle, which resulted in the death of at least fifteen people. The FBI informed Biden that the attacker acted alone and had placed explosives in other locations prior to the attack.

President Joe Biden disclosed that the assailant who carried out the New Orleans attack had a remote control for explosives in his vehicle, leading to the tragic loss of lives. Biden also stated that according to the FBI, the attacker acted independently and had planted explosives in different spots in the French Quarter hours before the attack.

Alejandro Mayorkas, the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, cautioned against drawing connections between the New Orleans attack and the explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck in Las Vegas. Despite similarities like both attackers having a military background and renting vehicles through the same app, Mayorkas emphasized the need for more information before establishing any links between the two incidents.

Mayorkas highlighted in an interview with CNN, "This does not necessarily establish a connection between the two events. I believe we still lack sufficient information." FBI investigators previously stated that there is currently no evidence linking the New Orleans attack to the Tesla Cybertruck explosion. Biden reiterated this stance but mentioned that investigations would continue to determine any possible connection between the incidents.
