washington - President Joe Biden raises worries about potential violence at the upcoming presidential elections next month, amid past remarks by Republican challenger Donald Trump.

President Joe Biden expressed concerns regarding the possibility of violence during the upcoming presidential elections in the next month, citing previous comments made by his Republican opponent, Donald Trump.

Biden stated that he has confidence in the elections being "free and fair", but he admitted, "I don't know if it will be peaceful."

Addressing journalists, he highlighted Trump's response after the last elections: "The things that Trump has said and the things he said last time when he didn't like the election result were very dangerous." In fact, a mob of Trump supporters even stormed the U.S. Capitol in early January 2021 to prevent Biden from being declared the winner. "So, I am concerned about what they are going to do," Biden added.
