washington, d.c. - The Biden administration is set to provide a $8 billion arms package to Israel, including aircraft, helicopters, and UAV bombs, amid ongoing conflicts in the region.

The Biden administration has informed Congress about the military support package for Israel, which includes a variety of weapons such as AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM missiles for fighter jets, 155mm artillery shells, and Hellfire AGM-114 missiles for attack helicopters. The sale aims to support Israel's long-term security by replenishing critical ammunition and air defense capabilities, according to the US State Department. Apart from this assistance, the US government has provided over $22 billion in direct military aid and operational support to Israel for its attacks in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.

Meanwhile, indirect negotiations for a ceasefire and prisoner exchange in Gaza have resumed in Doha. Hamas has confirmed that the talks have restarted and emphasized its efforts to reach an agreement soon that will stop Israel's ethnic cleansing and genocide war in Gaza.

On a separate note, Israeli attacks have continued to intensify in recent days, resulting in the deaths of 59 people on Friday and 11 members of the same family, including 7 children, in a house attack in northern Gaza. The number of fatalities in Israel's attacks in Gaza has risen to 45,717, with 108,856 reported injuries.
