Berlin wants to get started quickly with Macron

berlin - Berlin wants to talk soon with the upcoming French government on measures to strengthen the euro area. That said a spokeswoman from the German Ministry of Finance said Monday at a press conference.

The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs has meanwhile wanted to support France in implementing economic reforms. The Germans still have to wait until they get started with Emmanuel Macron, electoral winner. He only takes shape on May 14th of his predecessor François Hollande.
