'Benefactor Avicii tried to make others happy'

- Despite all his success, DJ Avicii was not happy in life. And for lack of happiness in his own life, he tried to give happiness to others, Mirror and Bild write.

At the height of his career, Avicii, or Tim Berglin, was one of the world's best-paid DJs, with assets of around EUR 68 million. He earned some 5.7 million euros in 2012. He shared this generously with matters that were dear to him.

For example, the DJ and producer fully donated his income from an American tour in 2012 to a foundation that fights hunger in the United Streets, called Feeding America. In 2013, the organization Radiohjälpen in his homeland Sweden received a million euros for help to people who are starving. In 2017, when he directed his video clips for Pure Grinding and For a Better Day, he asked attention for violence by gangs and trafficking. Instagram posts from his girlfriend and ex-girlfriends also show that the DJ had a big heart.
