Belgian 'junk cavalry alderman' away

lommel - A councilor from the Belgian town of Lommel has left Friday. She had been arrested for a series of plunks. Behind the home of Anick Berghmans stood an Audi with a Dutch license plate, hidden under a sail. It had been used as a race car by a gang that had been blowing up six cash dispensers since May, including in Lommel.

Berghmans is suspected of theft with vomiting and gang formation. The last robberies of this gang were recently in Lummen and Lommel. The Belgian police suspect that the gang consists mainly of Dutch criminals.
