paris - The Bataclan Parisian concert hall, which was the target of an Islamic attack almost three years ago, has canceled two controversial concerts by rapper Médine. 'Out of respect for the victims of the attacks of 13 November 2015 and their families, Médine and the Bataclan decided to move the performances to another location in the French capital', the music club announced Friday.

Médine justified the decision on Twitter with the fact that right-wing groups had planned demonstrations 'which aim to divide. 'Politicians from the conservative and the right wing had sharply criticized the concerts scheduled for October.

Reason are texts from earlier rapper songs, one of which has the title Jihad.
