The death toll in Bangkok, Thailand, has reached 17 following the earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand on Friday. Thirty-two people are injured, and 83 are missing.
Most casualties occurred due to the collapse of a thirty-story tower under construction. Majority of the victims were workers present during the collapse.
Rescue teams are working to save survivors, utilizing search dogs and drones to detect signs of life in the debris. Authorities plan to inspect 165 damaged buildings in Bangkok on Sunday.
