Bahrain also stops traffic with Iran

manama - After the breaking of diplomatic relations with Iran Gulf state of Bahrain also put stop traffic in the country. Thus the kingdom responds to the escalation of the conflict between its ally Saudi Arabia and Shiite Iran.

         Bahrain already had on Monday decided to close its diplomatic representation in Tehran. That was in protest against the attack on the Saudi embassy in the Iranian capital last weekend. The Iranian anger was the result of the execution of 47 convicts in Saudi Arabia, including the Shiite cleric Nimr al-Nimr.
Even Saudi Arabia has severed its diplomatic relations with Iran and all flights to and banned from the country.
