queensland, australia - A social media influencer in Queensland, Australia, has sparked controversy by allegedly poisoning her 1-year-old baby to gain more followers and donations.

In Queensland, Australia, a 34-year-old woman has been accused of poisoning her 1-year-old baby with medication to raise donations and increase her number of followers.

An investigation was launched in October after doctors noticed the baby's health deteriorate, leading to the discovery of the alleged crime. The social media influencer woman is facing charges of torture, poisoning, abuse, and fraud.

Investigators revealed that the woman, who lives in the Sunshine Coast area, administered various prescription drugs to the baby without permission between August and October. Tests conducted in January showed traces of the drugs in the baby's system.

Queensland Police Inspector Paul Dalton expressed his disgust over the crimes, stating, 'Words are not enough to describe how disgusting these acts are.' The woman managed to raise $37,300 in donations through GoFundMe, and the police are investigating other individuals in relation to the abuse allegations.

The social media influencer woman is set to appear in Brisbane District Court tomorrow.
