Attorney Trump relies on silence in case Stormy Daniels

World April 26, 2018 00:06

washington - Michael Cohen, the lawyer of US President Donald Trump, will not answer any questions in the lawsuit that porn actress Stormy Daniels (real name: Stephanie Clifford) has filed against him.

He will appeal to the fifth amendment of the American Constitution. This article states, among other things, that nobody has to be forced to testify against himself in criminal proceedings. Cohen has informed the federal court where the case serves its intention. Two weeks ago the FBI attacked the house of Cohen.

The actress dragged Trump's private lawyer to court last month. Cohen is accused of slander, because he had questioned the credibility of Daniels. Cohen has previously admitted that he paid 130. 000 dollars in silence to Daniels to say nothing about an alleged sexual relationship with Donald Trump in 2006.
