At least 18 deaths in case of fire in Chinese bar

qingyuan - In a fire in a karaoke bar in the southern Chinese city of Qingyuan, at least eighteen people were killed and five were injured on Tuesday. According to Chinese media, the police assume arson and they would have a suspect in mind.

Before setting fire to the three-storey building, the man with a motorcycle would have blocked the only access. He would also have suffered burns himself.

In February, nine people were killed in a fire in a waste disposal company in Qingyuan. That fire was probably caused by fireworks. A fire in Beijing last November claimed nineteen lives.
