- Arsenal is poised to break Premier League records for set-piece goals and own goals in the current season, surpassing historical statistics of top title-winning teams.

Arsenal's Set-Piece and Own Goal Records in Premier League

Arsenal is on course to set new records in the Premier League for scoring goals from set pieces and benefiting from own goals. With 24 goals from set pieces in all competitions this season, the Gunners lead Europe's top five leagues in this category.

High Percentage of Set-Piece and Own Goals

As of now, Arsenal has scored 14 Premier League goals from set pieces, constituting 35% of their total goals. Additionally, they have had three own goals in their favor, amounting to 7.5% of their total goals. These statistics put Arsenal on track to become the most successful team in terms of set-piece and own goals in Premier League history.

Comparing their performance to past title-winning teams, Arsenal's reliance on set pieces surpasses that of any other champion, with Manchester United's 2007-08 side coming closest at 27.5%. Arsenal's dominance in this area positions them to break the record for the highest percentage of set-piece goals in a Premier League-winning campaign.

Chasing Records

Arsenal's pursuit of setting new records extends to penalties as well. While they have scored three penalties so far this season, accounting for 7.5% of their goals, they aim to surpass the likes of Chelsea, Leicester City, and Manchester United, who hold records for penalties and set-piece goals in title-winning seasons.

With their exceptional performance in set pieces, own goals, and penalties, Arsenal is on track to redefine success in the Premier League and etch their name in the history books.
