neerpelt - The Belgian police thinks with the arrest of two people to have resolved the murder of Dutch businessman Marcel van Hout.
It would be the 47-year-old handyman and the 45-year-old ex of the man.
The 51-year old Van Hout was found dead in his villa on the Tisselrietweg in Neerpelt. According to the police, this happened by the now-held ex.
The two suspects deny having anything to do with the death of the 'stony businessman' according to Het Nieuwsblad.
The ex says that she had come to see him at home because he had not shown up at work.
'The Eindhoven of Moroccan origin found the successful businessman dead in the kitchen, in a large pool of blood. He got two bullets in the body, one in the head ', according to Het Nieuwsblad.
The woman, who previously had a clothing store, a beauty salon and a tanning salon, would have worked out her plan herself.
The police found it remarkable that Marcel was murdered while it was teeming with cameras around the villa. Because no images were found, it was soon thought that he left the perpetrator (s) himself.
Van Hout had several companies in Brabant and Curaçao.
Seven years ago, an empty house of his was set on fire in Neerpelt. In 2011, his ex, who is now a suspect, was once tied up and robbed in the house. 'At that moment there was a large drug research in which the name of Van Hout fell, but it was never a conviction', according to Het Nieuwsblad.
