alagna valsesia - Approximately 150 people are stranded at various mountain stations in the Italian Alps due to cable car failures caused by strong winds.

Around 150 individuals have found themselves stranded at different mountain stations in the Italian Alps, according to rescue services. Cable cars to the valley have stopped operating due to the strong winds, such as in Alagna Valsesia near the Swiss border.

The wind is also hampering the rescue operation. Emergency services are using snow groomers to reach some mountain stations. In certain areas, rescuers are also trekking on foot to reach stranded winter sports enthusiasts and hikers.
