- Apple plans to launch a program for Indian startups. Apple CEO Tim Cook will according to local newspaper Economic Times announce during his visit to India this week.

The main reason for Cook's visit to India is to help sell iPhones on the way. Factor Daily knows the business in the next eighteen months three Apple Stores will open in the country, in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Apple got here late April though permission from the Indian government. Should normally stores the products of a single foreign brand sales show make at least thirty percent of those products within India.

The government, however, Apple refused permission to sell second-hand refurbished iPhones in India. Apple seems like a good idea, because the high price of the iPhone is one of the reasons why smartphones are poorly sold in India. According to Economic Times Cook hopes this topic to discuss again at a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Although Apple does not want to share details about the trip of Cook, the newspaper knows that he intends to visit the cities of Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
