washington - A man who received a 241-year prison sentence for a robbery he committed at the age of sixteen, has caught a bone at the American Supreme Court. The court refused to accept the cassation according to American media.

Prisoner Bobby Bostic is only eligible for early release at the age of 112. He had asked the court to review the ruling. Court jurisprudence has shown that underage criminals can only get lifelong if they have committed murder.

Bostic robbed a group of people in 1995 with a friend who brought Christmas gifts to a needy family. Two victims suffered gunshot wounds. Then the duo kidnapped and robbed a woman. They let her go later and used the captured money to buy cannabis.

The Supreme Court has not indicated why the case is not being dealt with.
