lautoka, fiji islands - Bradley Robert Dawson was found guilty of murdering his wife during their dreamy honeymoon at the luxurious Turle Island Resort in Fiji Islands.

The High Court in Lautoka, USA, recently found Bradley Robert Dawson guilty of the murder of his wife. What sets this case apart is that his wife met a gruesome end during their honeymoon two years ago. The newlywed couple had traveled to the tropical and super deluxe Turle Island Resort on the Fiji Islands.

The then 38-year-old American was found a day later in Matacawalevu Village with various items in his possession, including his passport and personal belongings, as reported by The Fiji Times. According to Judge Riyaz Hamza, this suggests that Dawson was planning to flee.

Christe Chen Dawson, aged 36 at the time, was discovered on July 9, 2022, lying in a pool of blood in the bungalow at the Turtle Island Resort with severe injuries. There were head trauma and blunt force injuries, as reported by Fiji Times. The victim had recently graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and worked as a pharmacist.

Christe Chen Dawson's injuries were so severe that transporting the body became impossible. Therefore, she was cremated before being returned to her parents in Memphis.

According to Daily Mail, the couple had a heated argument the night before. Dawson's lawyer, Iqbal Khan, informed the newspaper that there is no evidence proving his client's responsibility for his wife's death. "Based on the evidence presented so far, there is no evidence of premeditated murder or any such thing. It appears to be an accident at first glance," he said. The suspect will remain in custody until his final sentencing in late January 2025.
