- Andy Rubin, the creator of mobile operating system Android, returns to the smartphone market. Rather than address the software, he now seems to want to make its own Android phone.
According to The Information Rubin is looking for people for a new company that will develop phones. It is not known whether Rubin himself takes the reins or only provides the funding.Rubin left last November at Google. He founded early this year an incubator for startups that want to develop new hardware. PlayGround has this year raised approximately $ 300 million.
