Amsterdammer (29) arrested for shooting with two injured

amsterdam - A 29-year-old man from Amsterdam has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Amsterdam-Zuidoost on Thursday, which left a man and a woman seriously injured.
Police received multiple reports on Thursday around 08:35 am of the shooting incident on Opijnenhof. Two police officers found two seriously injured victims and provided first aid. The suspect had fled.
Thanks to intensive investigative work, the suspect was located and arrested the same evening, the police reported on Friday. The man is in custody and is being questioned. He is under strict limitations, which means he can only communicate with his lawyer.
