washington - The United States temporarily flog their F-35 fighter planes, also known as JSF, due to a recent crash. The Pentagon has decided that certain fuel valves in all aircraft must be re-inspected. That will take about 48 hours.
At the end of September an F-35 of the US Navy crashed near Grays Hill in the state of South Carolina. According to the authorities, the pilot had secured himself with his ejector seat. The Dutch army has ordered more than thirty Joint Strike Fighters to replace the outdated F-16s, these are also being kept on the ground for the time being.
