American minister speaks Erdogan

ankara - US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in Ankara on Wednesday. He will hold interviews with Turkish officials about the disappearance of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

He is expected to meet with Turkish President Erdogan and Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Pompeo had an interview on Tuesday with the Saudi king in Riyadh on the matter and also with his son, crown prince Mohammed bin Salman. Pompeo traveled to the region to clarify the disappearance of Khashoggi. He lived in the US and disappeared at the beginning of this month in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
