American JSF crashed

grays hill - An F-35 fighter plane, also known as JSF, of the US Navy crashed on Friday due to unknown cause near Grays Hill in the state of South Carolina. According to the authorities, the pilot brought himself to safety with his ejector seat. He seemed unharmed but was examined in the hospital as a precaution for possible injuries. There were no victims on the ground. The jet had no guns on board.

As far as is known, it is the first time that a device of this type, which is operational in Afghanistan, has crashed. A fire was already lost, caused by a short circuit.

The captain could land on time with that jet fighter. The Dutch army has ordered more than thirty of these Joint Strike Fighters to replace the outdated F-16s.
