Amazon allows affair with Gandhi in India

new delhi - Amazon has slippers with the image of Mahatma Gandhi delisted. The footwear caused a huge riot in India. The noise comes according to the BBC just days after the online store has apologized for a hammock bearing the Indian flag.

Indians complained on Twitter that the 'disgusting' slippers were an insult to the father of the nation. The use of the flag on a hammock could rely more on angry responses. In India, it is an offense to abuse the flag. India calls via the embassy in Washington on Amazon that takes greater account of these Indian sensibilities.

Amazon said the hammocks were offered through a third party and that the company had not offend the intent. On the flip side, however, Amazon has not yet responded, but they are not to be found on the website.
