Almost everyone protects individual information on net

- Nearly 90 percent of people leave personal information on the Internet, also take steps to ensure that others have access to it. Nearly three quarters of people who sometimes leave personal information on the Internet, does not allow to be used for commercial purposes. Slightly more than half restricts access to its geographical location.

There is no difference between men and women in taking steps to safe surfing. It appears that people aged 65 and older are least likely to protect their data (about three-quarters do that). At 12- to 65-year-olds is nearly 90 percent.
