All eyes on Marine Le Pen

- In the 27 regions where France was divided, will be held Sunday the first round of regional elections. The ballot is seen as a barometer for the popularity of the government of the socialist François Hollande.
All eyes will be focused on the Front National. In the polls is anti-European and nationalist party of Marine Le Pen to head in this first round, followed by the center-right coalition around former President Nicolas Sarkozy. The leftist coalition is at 22 percent.
The surveys, moreover, indicate that the second round, about one week, will have a slightly different outcome. Then as the strongest center-right out of the bus and the FN second.
France now has 27 regions. Which are per January 1st 18, including five overseas.
