Alex Jones now also banned from Twitter

washington - Following Twitter and Facebook, Twitter has also banned the controversial publicist Alex Jones. The conspiracy thinker can not tweet from his personal account for seven days.

The reason for Twitter is a message from Jones in which he calls for violence, writes The New York Times. Jones may continue to tweet with his website Infowars via the @infowars account.

That Twitter bans, sounds like a powerful step, but can also be explained as a sort of interim solution. Facebook and Youtube permanently deleted podcasts, videos and messages from the publicist. Twitter did not want to take that step.
