Albert Heijn test smart 'shopping list'

zaandam - Albert Heijn is the first Dutch supermarket to test with Hiku. The device, which is equipped with a microphone and barcode scanner, can easily create grocery lists, the company reports Thursday.

Users can leave their messages or scan the Hiku which they are automatically added to the shopping list in the Appie app and at the Albert Heijn website. Customers can then use this list to the store or the products in one click add to their order.

The Hiku is already offered in countries like America and France.
