Air strike at wedding: dozens of deaths

dubai - Dozens of people have been killed by air attacks in the northwest of Yemen. The victims visited a wedding, local sources say.

The head of a hospital in Hajjah said that forty bodies were brought in. Another 46 people would have been injured, including 30 children. Residents of the area and medical workers say that at least twenty wedding visitors were killed.

The air raid was probably carried out by the international coalition led by Saudi Arabia. It fights the Houthi rebels who control parts of the country. A spokesman for the coalition promised a thorough investigation into the bombing.
