Air New Zealand Introduces Innovative Solution to End In-Flight Reclining Seat Disputes
Air New Zealand is addressing the ongoing issue of reclining seats on airplanes by unveiling new seats with a unique design that allows passengers to recline without disturbing the person behind them. The seats feature a solid outer shell within which passengers can recline their seats, offering more storage space and side wings for added privacy.
Enhanced Comfort for Passengers
Passengers traveling in premium economy class will have access to these new seats, albeit at a higher cost. Economy-class passengers will also enjoy improved comfort with larger in-flight entertainment screens, new snack trays, and additional storage options in the future.
The new design will debut on the 787-9 Dreamliner, set to commence service on May 19 with a flight from Auckland to Brisbane, followed by its first long-haul journey from Auckland to San Francisco.
