

Air China flights to Pyongyang on apron

beijing - The Chinese flag carrier Air China Friday apron traffic between Beijing and Pyongyang. One reason for the decision is not given, reported the Chinese state broadcaster CCTV.
Air China flies normally on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between the capitals. The airline was not available for comment. Scheduled flights in the past, been regularly canceled due to unspecified problems.
China is considered key ally of North Korea, but was not happy with the controversial weapons programs of the Stalinist neighbor. Beijing halted in February because of UN sanctions already importing North Korean coal; the main export product of Pyongyang.
