Aid workers slain in South Sudan

geneva - In South Sudan slain six helpers. They were sat in the capital Juba to the town of Pibor on the road when they were attacked in an ambush. That the United Nations Sunday reported, without saying whether they were working for the UN and what nationality they were.

It was the highest number of deaths among aid workers in an incident in South Sudan since civil war broke out in December 2013 in the country. Since the beginning of the war, certainly 79 aid workers were killed, of whom at least twelve this year.

In Pibor were last week, groups of young people from different clans clashed with each other. Hundreds of citizens from Pibor Thursday sought protection at the local UN base. After mediation by the local governor seemed appeased the matter.
