Ahmed Musa Returns to Nigeria Squad

Captain Ahmed Musa makes a comeback to the Nigeria squad after being named in the 39-man provisional squad by coach Eric Chelle for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe. Musa, who last appeared in the squad during the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations finals, joins other returnees like Cyriel Dessers, Joe Aribo, and Kayode Bankole. The squad also includes regulars like William Troost-Ekong, Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, and Wilfred Ndidi, as Nigeria aims to secure their spot in the World Cup in North America in 2026.
