beijing - 'Robots' have taken the oral final English exam in the Chinese cities of Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai. That took place last week. A speech computer assessed the level of the exam candidates. The gaokao, as the exam is called, gives access to the Chinese universities. The score plays a major role in the future of Chinese students and their families.
