900,000 people without electricity through one tree

san juan - A single fallen tree has caused a disturbance that causes nearly 900,000 people in Puerto Rico without power. The tree fell on one of the most important electricity cables towards the capital San Juan.

American media reported Thursday that the international airport of the island, the metro and the largest shopping center of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean were without electricity. The largest hospital switched to aggregates.

The recovery is expected to last about half a day.
